Mad cow was spread by cows eating other cows brains! If cows were vegetarian that would have prevented that epidemic. And cows can be vegetarian fed and still grow into healthy meat. Dogs and cats can also eat vegetarian-fed meat. And meat free from hormones, antibiotics and other chemicals.
People prefer organic dog and cat foods for their pets because they know that the growing and processing of the organic pet food is much less impactful on the planet than “conventional methods.”Just like other organic foods, organic dog food and organic cat food have all the same reasons to go organic. When crops are grown without pesticides, artificial fertilizers and are not irradiated. Animals are reared without antibiotics or hormones.
Organic dog food and organic cat food is also important for other reasons. When we buy organic, this is the only assurance we have that the ingredients are not genetically modified organisms. GMOs can really mess up a dog’s day!
